Bark of an Angel Dog Rescue is 100% Volunteer Based Non-Profit Dog Rescue. Our Dog Loving Volunteers dedicate their time to helping Homeless Dogs and Puppies get a second chance in life and find a loving Forever Home. We are completely Foster Based with the BEST Foster Homes any Dog or Puppy could ask for! All of our Rescues are Treated like part of the Family because they ARE!
Our History
Bark of an Angel Dog Rescue was founded in 2018 by a Husband and Wife Team. Ray and Cathie started off as a Foster Home for a local rescue that is no longer in operation. Ray and Cathie saw a void in the local Area when the rescue they foster for closed down and knew they had to help. From their personal Foster experience they wanted to create an organization that put not only their Rescues first and foremost, but their Foster Homes as well. Through their experience raising their personal Great Dane Mix Scooby, they me a Handsome Rescue named Phoenix. Phoenix is the inspiration to the Paw Print, Halo, and Angel Wings. Phoenix was a well loved Dane Rescue who's story inspired Ray and Cathie that with love and patience you can heal the heart, soul, and body as well as the difference you can make in a Dog's life no matter how long or short their time was here on Earth.
Dogs and Puppies Are Our Mission
Our Foster Homes are the true Angels here at Bark of an Angel Dog Rescue. Our Fosters open not only their homes but also their Hearts to help us on our Mission to help give a Second Chance to Dogs and Puppies no matter the size, age, or breed. Everyone here at Bark of an Angel does what ever it takes to make our Dogs and Puppies feel safe and loved. We work with and incredible Veterinary Clinic to ensure all of our Rescues receive the best Medical Care. To all of us these guys are Family, and we are so proud to be part of their Stories and Journeys.
